Very sweet and friendly staff, bacon ham and cream cheese cachito is the ideal breakfast pastry. It was my first time trying one, and it’s almost like an inside out bagel. Super fresh, was still warm from the oven. Iced latte was good too I just drank it before writing a review haha.

Roach 🪳 in the bathroom! Needs cleaning! There was a large dead roach in the bathroom and no hand soap. They do have a soap dispenser but it wasn't refilled and I could not wash my hands. They definitely need to work on maintaining the cleanliness of the washroom and make sure that soap is always filled since this is a food establishment. How else will staff wash their hands before preparing the food. Just FYI, we actually ordered and ate the pastries before I noticed the roach in the washroom, otherwise, I would not have ordered nor ate the food. I went to the washroom afterwards to wash my hands before leaving. The cachito was stuffed well with bacon and ham and was very good. The puff pastry was flakey and buttery and also well stuffed. We got ours warmed up and it was definitely better that way, I don't think I would have enjoyed them cold. They are a good value roughly $5-6 each. I tried a regular coffee which was good and a matcha which was incredibly underwhelming. They use a low quality matcha powder which is disappointing. I recommend investing in a high quality matcha powder. It really makes a difference not only in taste but in the experience for the customer who is

6 stars if I could. Bright place with a great soundtrack to have you dancing while you wait for your food. Great article with his story on the wall. Everything is unique, fresh, and DELICIOUS. Got two Cachito's, three other pastries, two smoothies, and a mini lime tart and a mango mousse I'm excited to bust into.

I discovered this awesome bakery through Too Good To Go! It had such an inviting atmosphere with fun music and Valentine’s Day decorations. The owner of this bakery is also so kind and friendly. I got two brownies, a huge cake pop, and a cheese croissant sandwich all for only $6.60! Everything still tasted perfectly fresh. The brownies were decadent, the cake pop was one of the best I’ve ever had with its chocolate coating and moist interior, and the croissant was light and flaky. I wasn’t lucky enough to score their namesake, the cachito, so I’ll definitely have to return to try their signature Venezuelan pastry. This is a wonderful addition to Evanston’s cafe scene!

Fantastic friendly owner operators and place for coffee and food with sunshine! I really wanted a south facing window on this late December morning, it’s sunny out and I found perfect spot. The breakfast sandwich was amazing and nice latte, I usually only get coffee so this was a treat. I will be back to try more! We need to support our local small restaurants! Note: the sandwich took a few minutes because they didn’t throw into a microwave, a nice warm and flaky croissant.
